What’s Next in Low-Power: IEEE 1801™-2024

The DVCon U.S. 2025 Workshop, “Introduction of IEEE 1801-2024 (UPF 4.0) Improvements for the Specification and Verification of Low-power Intent,” is now available to view on demand. Members of the IEEE working group provided an overview of key enhancements to the Unified Power Format (UPF) standard, addressing the growing complexity of low-power designs and the need for improved IP reuse, analog/digital co-verification, and state retention modeling.
