Charter

To identify and standardize multi-abstraction and multi-domain interfaces that enable complete, high performance verification environments to be constructed.

Scope

The Accellera Board approved the 2.0 version of the specification on May 11th 2007. This version adds two new use models including a subset of the SystemVerilog DPI capabilities and a new high performance pipes interface. To download the 2.0 standard in PDF format click here.

On January 13th 2005, the committee approved the 1.1 version of this specification and was ratified by the Accellera board on April 14th 2005.

The first part of the SCE-API (Standard Co Emulation API) standard, namely the modeling interface or SCE-MI for short, was first approved by Accellera on May 29th 2003. This was the 1.0 version of the specification.
