Francoise, I am fine with your proposal for 2607 -- it is a minimal clarification that such forwards are legal and doesn't open any new issues as far as I am concerned. Personally, I would like to see an explicit restriction that use of a default specialization of a forward parameterized class requires the explicit #() form. If there is consensus on that, I'd like to see that added. If there is not consensus, I'm willing to leave that issue unanswered; we can address that in the next PAR. I would not want any clarification (via example or otherwise) explicitly allowing the default without the #() since I think some discussion on that would be valuable. Gord.
