I fear I didn't correctly understand Mantis 2510 (ballot ID #183) when I reviewed it for the vote. Striking that sentence from 14.3 doesn't relax the requirement that clocking signals must be static. I had wrongly inferred that it would. However, we do need to be a little careful: in the Mantis 2510 description Dave says "dynamic variables as a whole should be legal"; that's true provided they are variables that have static lifetime. Once again, though, this is implicit in existing LRM text. Consequently, I wish to change my vote on this item to YES.
