In the June 11th svec conference call there was a discussion on mantis 1500 (forward typedefs). In that meeting several people were describing a type parameter as being inefficient. I was wondering if someone could elaborate on this a bit more. Is the inefficiency only apparent during the model build phase or is it something that also affects simulation runtime? I am assuming that value parameters do not suffer from this same inefficiency.
