Hi Matt,

I don't believe that we need to keep Mantis item 348 open any longer.
Below is a copy of a bugnote that I just finished adding to this
Mantis item.


Clause 26 of SystemVerilog 3.1a contains a description of Verilog features
that were under consideration for deprecation from SystemVerilog. Clause 25 of
P1800-2005 contains the same text.

The purpose of Mantis item 348 was to create a place-holder for this portion
of the SystemVerilog LRM. Now that the merge of 1364 and 1800 has occurred
we can check where we stand.

Annex C of draft 3a (1800-2008 draft 3a) contains the same text that was
contained in clause 26 that is being referred to by this Mantis item. Since
this text has survived the merge I don't believe there is any need to keep
Mantis item 348 open any longer.
