FYI,

On September 10, I have presented the status of several donations to the
Accellera Board in regards to SystemVerilog 3.1A. I have made it clear to
all
Accellera Board Members that we have extended the Date Extension
to allow the submission of Bluespec donation. I have asked if any board
member has any objection in regards to the extension, and no one objected.

Best Regards

Dear SystemVerilog Design Committee,
It is a pleasure and an honor for me to include a copy of the
donation material by Bluespec. Bluespec have gone through the process of
Accellera Donation. The technology assignment letter has been signed by both
parties (Accellera and Bluespec). We now enter the review period of the
Bluespec donation. This committee alone will review and vote for acceptance
for this donation. A presentation will be given in the SystemVerilog
Committee meeting planned for September 18. Johny and Karen will schedule
this through the normal committee process.

The Bluespec donation is based on sound mathematical semantics to
advance behavioral synthesis to a new level. The origin of this material is
based on MIT research activities. I request that you review this material
and provide the SV-BC committee with your technical feedback. According to
Accellera Process, the material is still owned by Bluespec. When the
committee decide to vote and accept this donation, then the material becomes
part of SystemVerilog which is the IP for Accellera.

SystemVerilog Hall of Fame of Technology Donors: Co-Design, Synopsys, Intel,
IBM, Motorola, Mentor Graphics, Novas and now Bluespec.
