Hi Jay,
I have not seen your first email.
Dates are always problems with few people. I have also to travel and
stay for two weeks and then go to DATE. I usually try Not conflict with
DVCON or any conference events. That leaves the last two days 28 and 29.
Many of the SV committees have claimed these two dates. So to do such a
meeting will conflict.
Phone calls are usually provided. After few hours, the phone get
shut down, if no one is attending through phones. If certain individuals
want to attend certain hours (like afternoon) that also can be arranged.
So if travel is not convenient for you, we will have a phone available.
I must conduct this meeting and getting topics synchronized with
every part of the LRM.

Best Regards

Vassilios

Subject: [sv-ec] Opinions on proposed Feb. 19 meeting?

A few days ago Vassilios announced a February 19 full committee meeting
in San Jose. I responded questioning why this was not occurring on Feb.
27 or Feb. 28 when most of us will already be in San Jose for DVCon. (We
already have an sv-ec meeting scheduled.) I've heard no response to
date.

Personally, I'm in San Jose the whole week of Feb. 24 and then fly
direct to Munich for DATE the whole week of March 3. Coming to SJ the
week before that for 3 solid weeks of travel is just not going to
happen.

Do any of the other non-San Jose based members have a problem with this
meeting not being coincident with DVCon? Isn't this the normal operating
procedure to have standard's meetings immediately before or after? This
5 day offset is really inconvenient.

Attendees who tried to dial in last time had a lot of problems.
