Vassilios,

You will recall that I asked you a number of questions at the open meeting
at DAC about the late arrival of the unproven OVA and the re-emergence of
ForSpec. More than three months later, *NONE* of those concerns have been
addressed, indeed I've become increasingly alarmed by the farcical
activities of the various SystemVerilog committee's over recent weeks, and
in particular your peculiar mix of sub-committee heads.

I have to say I was *DISGUSTED* by the numerous presumptions in your email
titled "Synchronization Activities of the Assertion Kernel" including the
gross presumption that there is anything of value in OVA that is not
already in Sugar and that the OVA donation will even be accepted by the
relevant sub-committee!

I have no desire to see the effort put into developing a requirement
document and examples for a Property language, and subsequent selection and
refinement of Sugar be diluted and wasted by your preconceptions and
dictatorial attitude. Sugar is a fine language that meets the needs of
users, it was designed with the objective of being slotted into Verilog
and/or SystemVerilog and IT'S AVAILABLE NOW WITH MULTI-VENDOR SUPPORT.

I know I'm not alone in saying my confidence in your ability as an even
handed head of the Accellera technical committees is at an all time low,
and I suggest you consider stepping aside to let an unbiased individual who
commands the respect of the industry take your place. Without such a
change the whole of Accellera will surely fall into such disrepute that
nothing of value will be accomplished in the foreseeable future.

Regards

Bernard Deadman
