With all the talk of multiple inheritance, I thought I'd bring up another
feature I'd like to have from Java. Anonymous inner classes, they are
fantastic for writing callbacks. I create all sorts of 5-10 line callback
classes for the purpose of connecting transactors to monitors and
scoreboards. Although it's just "syntactic sugar", I think it makes that
kind of code vastly more readable. With the highlight being that it keeps
all of your related thoughts co-located in one place, rather than scattered.
