Also, there are still 6 Mantis items in the Acknowledged state, for the
reasons described in the bug notes. For each, the editorial
implementation in the IEEE standard needs to be examined, and, if it's
now OK, the item needs to be moved to Closed. For any item whose
editorial implementation is still not OK, the SV-BC policy was to mark
it Closed anyway, but to open a new high-priority Mantis item to correct
the remaining editorial problem.

The 6 'Acknowledged' SV-EC Mantis items are --

at 11:00am

Hi all,
A conference call/meeting for SV-EC Errata subcommittee of P1800
scheduled
for Monday December 19th, 2005 at 11:00am. Here is call information and
preliminary agenda for the call. The sv-ec website has been updated to
reflect
the meeting date and new access number (listed below).

SV-EC Errata Committee Meeting
Date: Monday, December 19, 2005
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm PST

Toll Free Dial In Number: (888)635-9997
International Access/Caller Paid Dial In Number: (763)315-6815
PARTICIPANT CODE: 536987

Agenda

1. Review IEEE patent policy
  http://standards.ieee.org/board/pat/pat-slideset.ppt

2. SV-EC charter per Karen's email after p1800 meeting:
 -------------------
In the P1800 meeting last week, we decided to start "errata committees"
to allow discussion of the status of the various P1800 and P1364
committees. We enhanced the focus of the SV-BC to include updates to
the non-PLI sections of the P1364, including P1364 BTF and Encryption.
The PLI sections of the P1364 standard are currently covered by the
SV-CC and that will continue. Furthermore, P1364 database will be
merged
with the SystemVerilog Database. As a result, the following committees
are authorized to operate: SV-BC, SV-CC, SV-AC, and SV-EC. We will
also
continue with the Champions as a way to ensure our changes are
  consistent across the committees.

Please feel free to initiate meetings of your teams, I'd suggest once
monthly, to discuss errata. Please avoid enhancements until we get
authorization from the P1800 to proceed (probably once the standard
and
  a new PAR are approved).
 -----------------------------------------
3. Proposed Voting rights/Operating Guidelines.
I have placed a proposal on the sv-ec website for your review. This is
adapted from sv-bc operating guidelines, so it would be standard.
  Please refer to http://www.eda.org/sv-ec/SV_OperGuidelines.html

4. Meeting frequency.
Suggested frequency: once a month, to be discussed during December
meeting.

5. Issue database, scope of work, and resolution process proposal
The database is P1800 SV-EC items at http://www.eda.org/svdb
Proposal is to look at categorization and classification of existing
  Mantis items and assignments.
Process for issue resolution: Proposal: Any issue up for discussion
and
vote needs to be placed in the above data-base. Email discussion can
and
  should be used wherever possible.

6. Upcoming P1800 meeting, updates.
Proposal made for p1800 face-to-face meeting in January.
