Mehdi,
Errata 255 is not new, It's the email I sent out regarding 238 and 240.
I thought the only
Way to deal with the issue is to file a new errata for easy reference by
others. If you
Think it makes things easier for me to modify 240 to reflect our
proposal, I will be happy to.
Please let me know.
I fully understand we want the whole process manageable with cut off
time for new errata, but
This is an old one and many people on this list are already familiar
with the content. I know
As chair there are extra burdens, but reducing one item to vote on
shouldn't make it worse.
I hope this helps.
Looking forwarding to your confirmation.

Subject: [sv-ec] email ballot -- ( Calrifications) closes midnight
October 7.2004
All,
Here are points of clarification with respect to the email ballot.
We will NOT be able to add/delete/change any item on the
list that was sent out for email vote on September 30, 2004, per the
guidelines.
The original email ballot I sent out yesterday will be used.
Also, no change can be made to the proposals
that were entered. All of these changes will have to be
taken care of afterwards.
Specifically:
a) The new errata 255, is not considered in the email vote.
It is a new entry in the data base and will be considered
in the next meeting.
b) Any other modifications to the proposals are not part of
the email-ballot.
Meanwhile, members are encouraged to discuss the issues,
ask for clarifications on any errata item.
Thanks for your cooperation.
- Mehdi
