With respect to CH-39. This is resolved in CH-70 as I indicated in an
earlier email. Stefen raised the same issue. Same comment on CH-41.
With respec to CH-37 the term integral type is defined in 3.3.1.
With this clarifications that it is defined elsewhere will you change your
vote to yes on CH-37, CH_39, and CH-41?
Regards
David

There is a back log of minute approval and approval of changes (that were
created based on committee actions but the final words were not reviewed). I
want to propose the following process for email based votes.
1. A vote for email can be called by the chair/co-chair.
2. The period for response will be one week.
3. Any negative vote will force the issue to be discussed and voted on at a
committee meeting. 4. If there are no negative votes and half of the
eligible voters respond then the motion will be passed. 5. The purpose of
this is to pass items that are non-controversial and to reduce the time
required to handle them in meetings.
So, with these guidelines I would also like to include the request to vote
on the following items:
X_yes __no 1. Acceptance of the above.
__yes __no 2. Approve minutes from 6 January 2003
__yes __no 3. Approve minutes from 13 January 2003
__yes __no 4. Approve minutes from 21 January 2003
X_yes __no 5. Approve CH-32
Trying to go to the link causes my netscape session to crash.
I am assuming that CH-32 is what is now shown in section
3.10.5
of draft 2.
Section 3.10.5.6 name() shows calls to methods without
specifying
the (). AI 1. will discuss this in section 7.10.
__yes X_no 6. Approve CH-34
I prefer "non-composite" over "singular"
X_yes __no 7. Approve CH-35
X_yes __no 8. 8pprove CH-36
__yes X_no 9. Approve CH-37
Approve if "integral data type" is defined somewhere
X_yes __no 10. Approve CH-38
__yes X_no 11. Approve CH-39
Section 4.10.2 delete()
In the paragraph that begins with "If the index is ..." the
last sentence contains the word "task". This should be
changed
to either "function" or "method". I don't particularly care
whether it is changed to function or method but I note that
one
of the changes in CH-41 was to change "function" to "method"
in
section 4.10.4
After this change is made I will approve CH-39.
X_yes __no 12. Approve CH-40
__yes X_no 13. Approve CH-41
Item 3) Section 4.10.2
The "delete method" in the 3rd paragraph was not updated.
Approve if this change is made.
X_yes __no 14. Approve CH-42
