To aid conciseness, we request
that you to follow these guidelines:
-
Please categorise your
entries as one of IP, Tools or Services, or Other. For each primary
category, please use one of the appropriate sub-categories (listed
above) to help users target the exact information being searched
for. If you choose 'Other' in any of the categories
or sub-categories, please also suggest a suitable category name that we
can use to extend the category and
sub-category list, along with a
brief definition of what might qualify for the
category.
-
If you listing products in the
'IP' Category, please list families of IP products rather than each one
individually. Use the 25-Word Brief Description to provide more
details. As an example, rather than having individual entries for UART,
Ethernet Controller and Bluetooth IP, perhaps your product name might be
'Serial Communication IP' and the description might list the main
protocols supported.
-
If you are listing products in
the Tools category, please be careful about how tools are categorized. In
cases where it is appropriate to include the same tool in multiple
categories, terms such as 'Design Environment' have a very specific
meaning in IP-XACT. If you are unsure about how to categorise a product,
please feel free to check with The SPIRIT Consortium's Marketing
group.
-
For the 25-Word Brief
Description, we are aiming to keep each entry to one line, so brevity and
conciseness is key. 25 words is a difficult limit, so please don't
exceed that word count. Product facts are more informative than marketing
terms. If you support old version of IP-XACT, please add the statement
"legacy IP-XACT formats supported" (can be in addition to the 25 word
description.
-
Version of IP-XACT Supported :
Please provide the newest version of IP-XACT supported by your product.
Multiple versions of IP-XACT supported are acceptable. For legacy IP-XACT
version support, see paragraph above.
-
The URL is the public web link
where a user can go to get more complete information directly from
your company. Please provide a specific link to the Product/IP/Service
rather than a general link to your company/organisation. It's probably not
appropriate to include information about internal tools/IP/services that
are not publically available, or tools/IP/services that are unreleased,
under development, or not usable/accessible by users looking at
website.
-
Please feel free to add as many
product and service entries as you think appropriate. As already noted, it
may be appropriate to include the same product/IP/service in multiple
categories/sub-categories.
Please note that each company is
responsible for the information content provided. We rely on
accurate information being provided and updated when
required!
If you have any questions or clarifications,
please feel free to contact
us.
