Cliff,

If 'dead' means never part of the IEEE standard, then yes. If 'dead' means not supported by any major vendor in the future, then no. What works today will keep working.

Subject: [sv-bc] Mantis 1651 - $psprintf - Dead?

Hi, All -

I know this has been discussed a few times but I am not 100% sure of
the final status.

I believe (by a split vote) that Mantis 1651 was closed and $psprintf
was not added to SV2009. Is that correct? Did the champions agree?
Just trying to figure out if this should be mentioned at the DAC
update presentation next week.

Regards - Cliff
