No, an assignment pattern cannot be used for a partial assignment,
because, according to the matching rules of 10.9.1, "Every element shall
be covered by one of these rules."

Subject: [sv-bc] array initialization

Hi,

Is it legal to write

logic a[1:0] = '{1:'1};

where the assignment pattern assigns only part of the array?

Thanks,
Shalom
