Hi, Unfortunately, 1364-2005 added escaped identifiers to the set of permissible macro names. [SB] That's not quite the way it was. They were legal in 1364-1995 and Verilog-XL allows them. Then 1364-2001 was changed by mistake to forbid them. In 1364-2005 we simply returned the situation back in order to remain back-compatible.
