Subject: [sv-ec] Name resolution issues - face-to-face meeting?

In SV-BC it was suggested that there should be a face-to-face dedicated
to coming to agreement on the basis of name resolution rules. I am
willing to attend such a meeting but only if we can get a critical mass
of key people together in person. In my opinion, it is very difficult
to have such discussions remotely since examples and relationships often
need to be written up as discussion progresses.

So, I would like to (quickly) get email responses from EC/BC
participants. I would like you to characterize your interest in
attending as follows:
   1) will attend in person immaterial of location but
      would prefer location __________
   2) definitely need to attend but can only attend in person
      if location is __________
   3) would opportunistically attend but can only do so if
      location is _________

I will discuss the responses with Mehdi and Matt to see if we can come
to a reasonable consensus about whether we can get enough people
together to have a good chance of actually coming to agreement that we
can then act on.

Please include hard excluded dates (I cannot attend if the meeting
occurs on the following dates...). We would target a date as soon as
possible, realistically 2nd or 3rd week of September.

Gord
