RE: [sv-bc] Are modport port directions enforced?

The main concept of the interface is to serve as a bundle for signals,
sort of a struct on steroids. The modport only serves to add directions,
otherwise they are bidirectional. Since the interface is basically just
a replacement for connecting the signals individually, the behavior
should be the same. In regular ports, there is always an implicit
continuous assignment (unless they are bidirectional or there is port
collapsing).
