Matt noted one amendment to correct Steve Dovich's last name.

Dave moves to fix Matt's recording of 157 to

"And, elements of a packed structure or array can be assigned with
multiple
continuous assignments, provided that each bit is covered by no more
than a
single continuous assignment."

Brad seconds.
Motion Passed.

AI: Brad will update it as 157 per corrected wording.

Brad moves to accept minutes as amended. Steven seconds.
Motion Passed.

+Update on Net datatype subgroup
Kathy reports that as of the SV-BC meeting, she has received response
from
approximately 1/2 dozen people and that the weekly call is trending to
Thurs 8:30am pacific. Surrendra reported that this time conflicts with
sv-ac
and that he would like to participate. Kathy encouraged Surrendra and
others
to reply to her directoy as soon as possible so a weekly call can be set
up.
Kathy also noted that the sv-bc@eda.org reflector will carry email
exhanges
of the subgroup.

+Email

Matt will send out a ballot on Monday after the meeting,
covering issues:

    12, 20, 29, 31, 34, 38, 39, 109, 119, 120
    159, 163, 258, 259

Brad asked that 254 be dealt with in the meeting and
not by email.

+Discussion

  Possible closure candidates:
147: This issue is addressed by section 3.10 of the LRM. Brad moves

the status of this issue be changed to resolved (not a bug).
Surrendra
   seconds. Motion passed.

148: This issue is addressed in section 3.11 of the LRM. Brad moves
the status of this issue be changed to resolved (not a bug). Karen
   seconds. Motion passed.

149: Date types and struct members can have the same name. Brad
moves
the status of this issue be changed to resolved (not a bug). Doug
seconds
   Motion passed.

150: The default behavior is [0:size-1] as per the LRM. Brad moves
the status of this issue be changed to resolved (not a bug). Danny
seconds.
   Motion passed.

232: Const variables are different than constant_primary. Francoise
moves
the status of this issue be changed to resolved (not a bug). Brad
seconds.
   Motion passed.

  Other:
254: Lots of discussion about implicit versus explicit aggegrate
constructors. Stu & Steven advocate the use of '{ to unambiguously
indicate a struct constructor and packed'{ to unambiguously indicate
a
concatentation. Dave later pointed out that the bit-stream operator
will serve this purpose. Straw poll agreed that addition of '{ to
unambiguously indicate a struct expression is a good thing. Brad
will
   incorporate this into his proposal.

  Group did not get to:

19: Brad Proposal uploaded, ready for vote?
27: Dave Rich Proposal uploaded, ready for vote?
32: Brad vote in meeting or defer to email?
37: Brad Informal proposal in issue.
  218: Brad Proposal uploaded.
  220: Steven Proposal uploaded.
  223: Brad Proposal uploaded.
226: Brad Proposal uploaded, needs more discussion?
