Shalom,

The p1800 email reflector is just coming online. Those participating in the working group were just added to make distribution of meeting minutes and facilitate continue discussion coming out of the meeting.

In keeping with IEEE policy, all meetings are open and you have a right to be present and to be heard. Motorola/Freescale is more than welcome to join. In fact, Motorola is a director of the Corporate Advisory Group and Freescale is a director of Accellera which gives your organization a wealth of available ongoing information to the operation of these groups. As such notofication of this work has been communicated to Motorola/Freescale.

In regards to p1800 and p1364 communication, I have seen several years of good collaboration when SystemVerilog was within Accellera and see no reason for despair now.

I'm confident the p1800 chair will be forward information to you on direct or indirect participation in p1800 and as the changes the DASC will make are made, I'm confident the DASC SC and chair will also communicate the changes.

Regards,

Dennis

Dennis,
I see in your mail an ieee1800@eda.org address.
Is that reflector already working?
Can anyone join?
Why has it not been publicized?
Why is p1800 not communicating with p1364?
All this does not bode well for openness and cooperation...
