I don't see any others associated with 1800 except possibly vfv, but I don't think that one is important.

Thanks!

Hi Shalom,

Let’s work it this way – attached is a list of all the eda.org reflectors.
Please place an X in the first column of those relevant to P1800 that the team
needs accessible.

The eda.org machine has aged out to the point where it can no longer be
upgraded. So all the content must be migrated to stable platforms. Data
migration is a pain (I know) but it’s unavoidable in this case.

All the content on eda.org will be archived before the server is
decommissioned.

Lynn

The first one is simply 'ieee1800', not
'sv-ieee1800'.

There were also some old ones. I think there was
vlog-pp, for example.

So is eda.org just going away? There are/were
many others on eda.org also, not related to ieee1800.

Hi everyone,

We’re happy to archive these reflectors in an accessible area on the
Accellera site as we did for Verilog AMS. Once they are copied over I will
provide the URL for the new location.

Please verify this is the complete list of SV reflectors:

sv-ieee1800
sv-dc
sv-ac
sv-bc
sv-cc
sv-ec
sv-xc (last used Aug 2012)
sv-sc (last used April 2009)

Thanks!

Lynn

Folks,

In
the Accellera TC meeting this morning, we discussed this topic. Karen was
there along with Lynn (cc’d). The executive decision made was to move all
of these archives to the accellera site. Lynn mentioned this was fairly
simply to do as this was done for Verilog-AMS. I’ll let her comment on the
logistics.

This
mail is to inform you that we will move all of the sv-* archives to the
accellera site. Lynn will detail how they will be accessed.

Thanks,
-Tom

Deleting
the archives would be very bad, almost an unforgiveable sin in standards work.
The history is extremely useful.
I have very often searched the archives for
useful information and found it.
Stefan Boyd himself preserved the 1364
archives at http://boyd.com/1364_btf/archives.shtml.

There
are no plans for migration, as far as I can tell.

The
Mantis migration is complete, but there is one remaining major issue. The email
reflector archives will be shut down and there are about 150 open issues with
links to the archive. We will need to cut and paste the content into Mantis if
we want to retain this information. We ran into this situation with 1364
and the website the Stefan Boyd hosted. What we did was to cut and paste the
contents of the link into Mantis., splitting up the work between a number of
volunteers. We have to the end of this year to accomplish this.

Can
we discuss this at the next 1800 meeting?

Dave

Hi,
all,

A
quick heads up:

Mantis
will not be available from Thursday October 15 until Monday October
19.

On
