Presently thread access is all I need though in Linux you have to pay the price,i.e. pthreads are much slower than the default QuickThreads.
Also it would be nice if there was a tool to visualize the exchange of events and thread interaction in general.

I use Visual C++ (Express 2008 edition) and could set break point in any thread. Are you looking for somthing more?
